Job Summary

Lightship Chartering Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee/Junior Ship Broker to support the day-to-day activities of our Brokers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain databases and prepare market information and reports for clients.
  • Assist in managing internal data flow of key market information.
  • Develop and maintain a database of sales activities and produce management/operations reports.
  • Provide administrative support with contracts and correspondence.
  • Field queries and establish/maintain effective client relationships.
  • Conduct post fixture support in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Attend meetings and events as required.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as needed to meet business requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (applicable to Junior Ship Broker position).
  • Relevant academic background.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
