Job Summary

Imerys is seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team in Asia Pacific. As a key member of our data management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data across various systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, with experience in implementing and maintaining data governance processes, data quality assurance, and data stewardship. You will work closely with our business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to identify and resolve critical data management topics, and lead data management projects to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance: Define and implement data governance processes, methods, and guidelines to manage data at the PM APAC level, in accordance with Imerys Group guidelines.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve critical data management topics, and ensure that data flow and content provided to the organization and teams are updated and validated through systematic controls and clearly defined processes.
  • Data Stewardship: Manage main master data in Imerys SAP Global Core Model (Opera), in cooperation with business stakeholders and the Opera team, and participate in the implementation of SAP Opera in Asia Pacific, master data stream.
  • Project Leadership: Lead data management projects, interface with Data Owner at Group level, and coordinate subject matter experts to ensure that data are created and up-to-date in ERPs, including Opera, exception rules.
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with Sales organizations, Finance, Product Managers, Customer Service, IT, S&OP, Supply Chain, and Group Data management team to ensure seamless data management across the organization.
Requirements
  • Strong background in data management, with experience in implementing and maintaining data governance processes, data quality assurance, and data stewardship.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and resolve critical data management topics.
  • Experience with SAP Opera and Imerys SAP Global Core Model (Opera) is a plus.
