Job Title: Early Childhood Educator
The role of an Early Childhood Educator is crucial in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for young children to grow and develop.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for supporting the main teacher in delivering lessons in accordance with the centre's curriculum. This includes creating a safe, organised and resourceful classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the main teacher in delivering lessons and ensuring that the curriculum is implemented effectively.
  • Create a safe, organised and inclusive classroom environment that promotes children's learning and development.
  • Prepare and set up learning materials and resources for daily activities.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as songs, games and storytelling.
  • Help maintain a tidy and organised classroom.
  • Assist in observing and recording children's development and progress.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Communicate positively with parents and colleagues when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education, or relevant experience in a preschool setting.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possession of passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the main teacher and within a team environment.
