Financial Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm in the commodity, oil and gas industry with a strong presence in multiple countries.

The company invests heavily in research and development to enhance its technological capabilities in the industry, while also emphasizing sustainable development management and incorporating environmental, social, and governance considerations into its operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity levels for operational needs.
  • Assist in the execution of foreign exchange transactions and other financial instruments.
  • Prepare detailed reports on treasury activities, including cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to support the company's treasury functions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
  • Support the implementation of treasury management systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to reconcile financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans related to treasury activities.
Requirements:
  • A background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow are welcome to apply.
  • Prior exposure to FX trading, cash management and trade finance is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin as the role requires liaising with stakeholders in China on a daily basis and handling relevant documents.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and committed to meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
