Job Opportunity: Advancing Women's Empowerment

Job Description:

As a Research and Communications Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our organization in its mission to advance women's empowerment and gender equality. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct research and gather content for various reports on gender-related topics, including violence against women, women and ageing, women in leadership, and other relevant issues.

Additionally, you will work closely with the communications team to develop a media engagement plan, create talking points for initiatives and thought leadership topics, and craft compelling content for social media platforms.

With this internship, you will gain experience in research, content development, and communications, while making a meaningful contribution to the advancement of women's rights.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and gather content for reports on gender-related topics
  • Develop a media engagement plan with the communications team
  • Craft talking points for initiatives and thought leadership topics
  • Create content for social media platforms, including listicles, op-ed pieces, and statistics-based posts
  • Presentation at events, interviews, and articles

Requirements:
