Chief IT Infrastructure Specialist


Job Description:
  • As a Chief IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the success of IT infrastructure activities.
  • You will oversee server and network rollouts for Singapore and regional countries.

This role involves working closely with the data center team and supporting members in the wider Infrastructure area to manage and rollout IT Infrastructure.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with deployments of x86 hardware such as HPE Proliant, enterprise storage hardware, and networking hardware like Cisco Nexus series.

A good understanding of datacenter networking is essential for this role.

Candidates should also have knowledge of ITIL and DCIM tools.

The ideal candidate should be able to perform basic hardware rack-and-stack, and configuration for handover to Operation Teams.

They should also be able to perform ad-hoc after-office support on a pre-agreed basis.

A strong working knowledge of copper/fiber deployment and willingness to learn testers/cleaners for troubleshooting is required.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in data center operations.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with deployments of x86 hardware.
  • Good understanding of datacenter networking.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and DCIM tools.
  • Ability to perform basic hardware rack-and-stack, and configuration.
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc after-office support.
  • Strong working knowledge of copper/fiber deployment.
