Job Title: Global Markets Operations Lead
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the overall operations of the derivatives team. This includes but is not limited to, derivatives processing, confirmation and fund settlement, and effective control of group related transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support the overall operations of the derivatives team.
- Lead the derivatives team in achieving operational excellence.
- Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions and resolve issues including handling stakeholder complaints and escalating all issues promptly.
- Introduce effective risk management control features and policies to minimize errors and clerical mistakes taking into consideration current market trends.
- Proven experience in derivatives processing and trade settlement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
