We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Technical Officer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in site supervision, architectural finishes and precast construction.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of works on-site, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with approved plans and drawings. This includes reviewing and checking all drawings, specifications and contractor method statements to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

The Resident Technical Officer will also be responsible for:

  • Providing weekly reports on site activities, including identified issues, proposed action plans and solutions implemented;
  • Attending meetings at the client's office or work site as necessary to address site-related issues and other project matters;
  • Reviewing and familiarizing with project drawings and contract specifications;
  • Highlighting deviations during joint testing, commissioning and inspections to ensure smooth handover, operational occupancy and resolution of post-construction defects and user feedback;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of site experience in the supervision of various types of developments;
  • IES accreditation would be advantageous;
  • Site supervision experience in A&A works for institutional buildings, inclusive of demolition and new structures construction;
  • Prior experience in precast construction and architectural finishes;
