Job Description

A Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services. They perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Analyse and interpret test data, identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to quality control processes.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a Higher Nitec qualification or above in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. They should also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or technical role, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Basic understanding of metallic materials and precision engineering process.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 13485 and MSA.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge in inspection, measurement system, and document control.
