We are seeking an experienced Material Planner and Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely receipt of materials and components from suppliers.
- You will collaborate with production planners to align supplier forecasts and ensure a steady flow of materials.
- You will coordinate with global vendor planners to monitor shipment adherence and resolve any discrepancies.
- You will track and manage supplier purchase orders to maintain timely material availability and prevent delays.
- You will utilize SAP to oversee material stock levels and handle transactions efficiently.
- You will partner with logistics, warehouse, and production teams to plan, expedite, and facilitate smooth material movements.
- You will ensure suppliers comply with established procedures, delivery schedules, and service requirements.
- You will develop strategies to optimize material inventory and achieve inventory control targets.
- Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in materials management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in SAP, strong analytical capabilities, and advanced Excel skills.
