Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure major equipment and materials for assigned projects within budget and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and commercial negotiations with suppliers to select the best option.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in purchasing or materials management in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Industry expertise and knowledge of procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, including SAP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and evaluate data to make informed decisions.
  • Language proficiency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
