Skilled Nursing Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our nursing team. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Main Responsibilities:- Nursing Care Delivery:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs and medical information, identifying any changes or concerns that may impact their care.
- Provide wound care and other nursing procedures as required, maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, and mobility, promoting independence and dignity.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, utilizing your training and experience to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Supervise junior nursing staff, nurse aides, and healthcare assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Conduct regular training sessions and coaching to ensure staff are updated with current nursing practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents, promoting seamless communication and coordination.
- Quality Assurance:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and standards of care.
- Conduct audits and participate in continuous education programs, staying current with industry developments and advancements.
- Communication and Teamwork:
- Foster effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns and providing support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
