Clinical Nursing Educator Role

As a Clinical Nursing Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and training to nursing students and new nurses within the healthcare system. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that ensure all nursing staff meet the highest standards of care.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and delivering clinical training programs tailored to the diverse needs of nursing students and new nurses.
  • Conducting hands-on training sessions, simulations, and classroom lectures on various nursing topics, ensuring learners gain practical experience and apply theoretical knowledge effectively.
  • Supervising and mentoring nursing students during their clinical rotations, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Evaluating the clinical skills and competencies of nursing students and new nurses, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing with relevant post-basic advanced certificates; Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education is preferred.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a teaching or mentoring role.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in coaching skills and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
