  • Leading a team of engineers in the efficient operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery
  • Supervising routine and scheduled work in the engine department, as well as other locations as required
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and machinery
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including inspection and testing logs
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulations

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

- A Chief Officer's Certificate of Competency (COC) Class II or I

">

- At least 3 years of experience as a Second Engineer on an oil or chemical vessel

">

- Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills

- A strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
