Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Sr Production Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality and cost targets are met, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:- Support the Area Operation Manager in daily production activities, focusing on meeting production schedules, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), quality, and cost targets.
- Provide production and process optimization, troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical support to the operations organization.
- Maintain production, time, and environment metrics, closely monitoring process performance and unit consumption of raw materials, chemicals, and utilities. Manage all production reporting in SAP.
- Maintain and improve plant operations effectiveness and reliability by performing routine monitoring and analysis of safety control devices, environmental pollution control devices, and process parameters to detect problems or potential issues for trouble prevention.
- Analyze existing processes, develop recommendations, and initiate projects to improve effectiveness, efficiencies, quality, and cost savings of the operations.
- Achieve loss minimization by implementing procedural countermeasures and conducting routine investigations to evaluate causes of plant losses and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Develop, maintain, and update process documents like process manuals, standard operating procedures, training materials for operations personnel, piping and instrumentation diagrams, etc.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Capable of monitoring information and skilled in analyzing and evaluating both process and non-process situations.
- Able to identify cause-effect relationships, with excellent planning/organizing skills and tenacity to follow through on planned activities and projects.
- Must be able to assimilate and apply new job-related information in a timely manner.
- Able to interpret and understand piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to interface with people from all levels and functions.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
