CASA RAUDHA LTD. is currently seeking a Child Development Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of individuals within our community.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional who can provide valuable support and guidance to clients, helping them overcome challenges and dependencies. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing support packages, conducting client interviews and assessments, and setting tailored goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive support plans to assist clients and their families in overcoming challenges and dependencies.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients to assess their current condition, needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Treat each case as unique, setting specific, measurable goals tailored to the client's situation.
  • Provide case management services using the crisis model approach to address immediate needs and long-term stability.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and record the client's progress against the set measurable goals.
  • Connect clients with other social and professional services to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Facilitate activities and initiatives to build and maintain cohesive family units within the shelter environment.
  • Assess and recommend extensions of resident status and financial assistance, highlighting any pertinent issues.
  • Work with school counselors to support school-going children, monitoring their behavior and academic progress throughout the year.
  • Organize and coordinate case conferences with referring agencies such as Family Service Centres (FSC).
  • If necessary, accompany residents to official meetings with related agencies.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans with clients, ensuring follow-up and post-care support.

Additional Duties

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Experience in case management or a related field.
