Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our Change Transformation team. This global role involves executing audits across various areas, including Ways of Working, project lifecycle, Classic and Agile delivery, project governance, reporting and monitoring, scheduling, resource management, and financial management.

  • This role will involve working on complex audits such as cross-functional and multi-location high-risk audits, as well as providing opportunities to interact and engage with Group and Country stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit, preferably in the Banking and Financial services industry, with experience in Change Management and Agile concepts. They will also possess excellent writing and articulation skills to communicate complicated technical issues in business terms.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining an awareness of the Group's business strategy and model, and an understanding of the Group's Transformation priorities.
  • Performing, supporting, or leading the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established GIA standards and timelines.
  • Delivering quality audit reports that are effectively written with practical, actionable, measurable, and value-added recommendations.
  • Sharing knowledge, skills, and experience with team members and the wider GIA, and providing advisory to internal auditors from both Business and Technology on Change Management.
  • Assisting in standardisation and documentation of processes, risks, and controls, and working with internal stakeholders to build a comprehensive and simple test procedures for Change Management.
  • Assisting to track and consolidate all Change-related audit issues raised by GIA, Regulators, or Monitors, and providing periodic updates to internal GIA Management and senior risk committees of the Bank.
  • Applying an in-depth understanding of, and compliance with, GIA methodology standards and the GIA system in all areas of assigned GIA activity.
  • Evaluating quantitative and qualitative data (using data analytics) to diagnose underlying issues, patterns, and root causes.
  • Monitoring and tracking assigned audit issues and action plans, and reporting overdue items to the Head of Audit (HOA) for resolution.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's or university degree in a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in audit (with a focus on Change delivery and Agile concepts), preferably in the Banking and Financial services industry.
  • Change Management (e.g. Project Management Planning, Agile Practitioner) is required.
  • Excellent writing and articulation skills to succinctly communicate complicated technical issues in business terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining credibly effective working relationships with counterparts in Group Internal Audit and business stakeholders.
  • High degree of responsibility, self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collect and objectively analyse and apply information, 'thinking out of the box' where necessary, in supporting the planning, fieldwork or reporting of results of audit engagements.
  • Displays initiative and knows when and how to seek guidance. Willingness and capacity to learn on the job.
  • Professional Audit Certification (CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP etc) and experience in executing a risk-based Audit Methodology, or a similar methodological approach.
  • Professional Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) in Change Management preferred.
