Job Description

We are seeking a Risk Assurance professional to join our team. As a Risk Assurance specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the clients meet their financial, operational and compliance objectives.

You will be responsible for undertaking assigned internal audits and consultancy projects, coordinating project kick-off meetings and other planning activities, reporting on control deficiencies and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value.

Additionally, you will support the internal audit projects by identifying opportunities for improvement and reducing business risk through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.

You will also use data analytics and visualisation tools to identify patterns/trends in data sets and evaluate exposure to business processes.

In this role, you will engage and communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you will possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields.

Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in external/internal audit in a public accounting firm or commercial environment will be preferred.

Fresh graduates will also be considered.

Candidates with industry-related certifications such as CIA, CISA, CA/CPA, and CRMA will be added advantage.

Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-keeping skills are essential.

An analytical mind that can assess and evaluate risk as well as recommend solutions is required.

Ability to work both independently and as part of the team by establishing priorities and meeting deadlines is necessary.

Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills are expected.

High level of interpersonal skills in handling sensitive and confidential documents is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in audit
  • Industry-related certifications (CIA, CISA, CA/CPA, CRMA)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
