We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Business Analytics team in South Asia. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in empowering our Operations team with advanced analytics capabilities and actionable insights derived from complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement large-scale AI/ML projects to drive business decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Design and implement sophisticated predictive modeling to forecast outcomes and shape strategic initiatives
  • Articulate complex data insights to senior leadership with clarity and operationalize models to integrate them into business processes
  • Refine analytical methodologies to keep pace with the evolving landscape of predictive analytics technology

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of practical experience in a data science role
  • Strong understanding of statistical tools and programming (including Python, SQL)
  • Proven experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in hypothesis-driven statistical testing
  • Proven track record in operationalizing models and integration into business processes
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including demand forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment
  • Experience with Operations Research and optimization techniques
  • Experience with generative AI, including applications such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), data retrieval, orchestration, and tool calling
  • Demonstrated skill in data visualization and communication tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
