Event Usher Role

We are looking for a skilled Event Usher to join our team. As an Event Usher, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of events at Marina Bay Sands.

Job Description

The primary function of the Event Usher is to provide exceptional customer service to patrons attending events. This includes:

  • Assisting patrons in finding seats and providing directions to various areas of the venue
  • Verifying tickets or passes for authenticity
  • Refusing admittance to undesirable persons or individuals without tickets or passes
  • Solving seating disputes and addressing other patron concerns
  • Providing information about the event, venue logistics, and general building history

You will also be responsible for monitoring physical surroundings in assigned areas prior to and throughout events for safety, cleanliness, and functionality, notifying supervisors of any concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as an Event Usher, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations quickly.
