Job Title: Quantitative Researcher - Machine Learning
Job DescriptionXR Trading is a dynamic proprietary trading firm with offices worldwide. Our company culture emphasizes teamwork and focuses on continuous integration and test-driven development.
We are seeking a talented quantitative researcher to join our growing data science efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing our Python data science tools and frameworks.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multiple trading teams, conducting alpha research, identifying new trading opportunities, and monitoring models in production.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and machine learning for time-series data
- Excellent programming skills in Python (C++ familiarity is a plus)
- Experience with software engineering best practices including TDD and CI/CD
- Experience with distributed computing
- Effective prioritization while being mindful of long-term objectives
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders across multiple geographical locations
- Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $300,000 USD
- 100% Employer-Paid Medical Coverage
- Health Savings
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as additional compensation.
