Join our team as a Lead Repair Development Engineer, Joining Technology and take on the exciting challenge of advancing joining processes globally.The role is part of the Advanced Manufacturing & Repair Technology (AMRT) Joining team and focuses on industrializing processes across the global repair network to deliver quality and productivity.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for developing, industrializing, and supporting joining technologies for the Gas Power business worldwide.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new manufacturing and repair process technologies to support component teams in implementing repair strategies or meeting factory NPI requirements.
  • Create validation plans for repair materials and process technologies in collaboration with New Repair Introduction engineers.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of these technologies across the global repair network.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve repair processes.

• Develop and implement training programs for technicians and engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills to execute the joining technologies effectively.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through data analysis and automation.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of joining technologies into existing workflows.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and training materials.

• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and external partners as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in joining technologies.

• Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and objectives for the AMRT Joining team.
