Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - APAC

Location: Remote (APAC Region)

Role Overview:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our cloud systems. Your expertise will ensure that our infrastructure is robust, secure, and efficient, meeting the demands of our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee and enhance cloud infrastructure across the APAC region, focusing on compliance and security.
  • Facilitate the transition of on-premises systems to cloud environments.
  • Work closely with the Cloud Infrastructure Manager to embed security protocols in all initiatives.
  • Implement automation strategies to optimize operational costs in cloud environments.

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Develop and uphold guidelines for infrastructure management within the APAC region.
  • Collaborate on the strategic direction of IT infrastructure.
  • Address incidents related to cybersecurity and data protection in partnership with global operations teams.
  • Design and execute SecDevOps processes and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards while introducing innovative infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications:

Technical & Management Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in DevOps within public cloud environments.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, JavaScript, C#, and Bash.
  • Solid understanding of server operations, virtualization, storage solutions, and networking protocols.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitOps).
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Exposure to major public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in public cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in IT organizations that support mobile or remote workforces.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a multinational organization.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT architecture.
