Quantitative Researcher Position

A leading organisation in the rapidly developing field of cryptocurrencies and digital assets is seeking an exceptional Quantitative Researcher. In this role, you will conduct research that drives our trading strategies forward. You will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts who are passionate about innovation and excellence.   • Research on core trading strategies: core algorithms, models, execution logic, performance optimisation and monitoring.
  • Implement frameworks for developing, validating and testing trading strategies.
  • Analyse the behaviour of trades and avenues for improvement.
  • Responsible for improving our strategies, the profit/loss through pricing-based research, into monetization.
  • Advance existing initiatives and explore opportunities for new research topics.
  • Drive technical innovation and improve simulations within the team through the evaluation of new tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing advanced quantitative models to drive trading strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement trading strategies.
  • Conducting thorough analysis and research to identify areas for improvement in trading strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in a quantitative role within a trading environment or experience applying advanced quantitative techniques.
  • Passion for solving complex and data-intensive problems.
  • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages C++ and/or Python.
  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in a technical field from top-tier universities such as Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
