Production Engineering Role Overview

This position is responsible for optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling Dicing, Die Attach, and Wire Bonding, or Molding, Testing machines.

Key responsibilities include defining and implementing preventive maintenance programs to increase productivity and product yields, achieving maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and improving operational efficiency.

Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machines, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, responding to emergencies, break-downs, malfunctions, and other operation problems to minimize disruption to manufacturing processes is also essential.

Supporting new equipment installation and commissioning, leading projects covering modifications and enhancements to manufacturing equipment, and participating in plant improvements and reliability initiatives are key aspects of this role.

Benchmarking equipment for technology advancement and developing Standard Operating Procedures are also part of this job. Additionally, you will handle Customer's Audit Exercise and involve yourself in other special projects, engineering works, and duties assigned by the department head.

Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as independence and responsibility to work with minimal supervision are highly valued.

Experience in IC assembly is an advantage, and knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 QEMS implementation, Total Productive Maintenance, MTBF, and MTTR is highly valued.
