About This Role

This position is responsible for leading the development of a highly scalable, efficient and robust trust and safety platform and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to build a highly scalable, efficient and robust trust and safety platform and tools.
  • Drive project objectives, system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services.
  • Define a long-term technical roadmap for the team.
  • Recruit and mentor engineers of various levels of experience into a performant team, build team culture and cohesion, and help team members grow technical capabilities.
  • Understand and brainstorm product objectives to develop an easy-to-use platform that aligns with customers' needs.
  • Collaborate closely with trust and safety specialists, experts and machine learning engineers.
  • Work with Trust and Safety teams to protect globally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, familiar with C++/Go/Java program development (at least one), striving for high-quality code and focusing on the technical quality of the code.
  • Highly proficient in designing data structures, building algorithms, and at least one programming language: Java, Python, C++ Go, PHP, pursue high-quality code and focused on code engineering quality.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Technical Lead Management or People Management.
  • Good communication skills, able to lead and drive projects effectively.
  • Familiar with team and project management methodologies and approaches.
