Job Description

As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's culinary services.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee the preparation and delivery of meals for inpatients and catering services for hospital events. This includes taking meal orders from patients, noting dietary requirements, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals to wards.

You will also be responsible for resolving patient complaints and feedback issues, as well as collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of service and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills:

  • Interest in food and nutrition, with knowledge of various diet requirements
  • Diligence, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
