Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking a skilled Quotation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in quotations and cost estimation. A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

The successful candidate will also possess proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, as well as Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Benefits:

This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary package of up to $2,800 + variable bonus. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:45pm, and the location is Hougang – Defu Lane.

Other Responsibilities:

The Quotation Specialist will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and specifications to define project needs, creating precise cost estimates, generating detailed quotations, and ensuring quotations align with company pricing strategies and competitiveness.

The role also involves reviewing engineering drawings to assess project feasibility and identifying optimal manufacturing processes with engineering and production teams. Additionally, the Quotation Specialist will provide technical support and project feasibility assessments to sales teams and clients, issue production drawings to support manufacturing, and stay updated on material costs, labor rates, and manufacturing technologies to refine cost estimation methods.

The ideal candidate will be able to track cost trends, identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to enhance quotation efficiency. Communication skills are essential for this role, as the Quotation Specialist will need to communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and address concerns, participate in project kickoff meetings, and maintain accurate records of all quotations.

Ultimately, the goal of the Quotation Specialist is to innovate quotation processes and stay informed on industry best practices and technological advancements.
