About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at KRIS INFOTECH PTE. LTD. as a Microservices Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot, Jackson, API, AXWAY/KONG API Gateway, Apache Tomcat, Java, JSON API, Oracle, and AWS/OpenShift cloud.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java code, ensuring it is efficient, scalable, and secure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in Agile project development, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain unit test cases using Java Test Framework (JUnits, Mockito).
  • Identify and troubleshoot vulnerabilities and Sonar issues, implementing remediation solutions that comply with Sonar rules.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
  • Expertise in Java 8 version or later.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful Web Services.
  • Strong understanding of Agile project development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and OpenShift.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of Kafka integration, OCP4 configurations, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of secret vaulting and secure data storage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of JSON, Web Services, and API design.
  • Experience with JMS and messaging queues.
  • Knowledge of Open API spec/Swagger 2.0.
  • Experience with SDLC and test case development.
