Hearing Specialist

As a key member of our audiology team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and providing administrative support to ensure seamless operations in our clinic.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough hearing assessments, including otoscopy, to diagnose hearing and balance problems in patients.
- Collaborate with audiologists to perform hearing tests on babies and young children, ensuring accurate results and effective care.
- Provide detailed orientation to patients on hearing aids and cochlear implants after fitting by audiologists, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Participate in vestibular assessments to identify and address balance-related issues.
- Triage patient referrals for hearing aid trials, prioritizing those in need of urgent attention.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment schedules and referrals, maintaining open lines of communication.
- Assist in troubleshooting hearing devices and provide support in the Hearing Aid and Cochlear Implant Clinic.
- Maintain accurate records of daily and weekly patient statistics at the audiology clinic, tracking trends and identifying areas for improvement.
- Perform various logistical tasks related to administrative aspects of audiology, ensuring efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Health Science, Electronics, Engineering, Biomedical, or a related field is required.
- Ongoing training will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Certificate in Industrial Audiometry or prior experience in healthcare is highly desirable.
