About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team at Clearstream Banking S.A. Singapore Branch. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting our customers with all tax matters related to Custody payments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate collection, validation, and notification of market information on Tax matters related income payments
  • Handle tax relief certification from customers
  • Check correctness and monitor the sending of tax certifications
  • Reconcile tax instructions with depositories
  • Prepare tax reporting (contact with Tax Authorities, external auditors...)
  • Continuous improvements of internal processes and support of project work

About You

  • Knowledge and understanding of Equity/Fixed Income assets and related custody services, including tax considerations is a plus
  • Pro-active, willing to learn and propose improvements
  • Confident to work under pressure and deadlines whilst maintaining good organization and prioritization
  • Analytical and good numerical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel
  • Dedication, team and communication skills, flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications will round up your profile
