Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Architect to design and implement robust network infrastructure in Asia Pacific. This role will involve managing and delivering network projects within proposed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support network infrastructure in Asia Pacific
  • Ensure Asia Pacific Network services meet business requirements for stability, resilience, and performance
  • Implement global standards and best practices in all network infrastructure
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Monitor and audit network activities to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Support and administer firewall environment according to IT security policy
  • Manage global/regional/local network project implementation
  • Provide 2nd/3rd level network operational support and implementation
  • Automate and streamline operation workflow processes
  • Offer consultations and operational support to business and IT units
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of technical and network operation experience in investment banking, financial institution, or large enterprise environment
  • In-depth knowledge of network technology (TCP/IP, WAN/MAN/LAN technologies, routing protocols, VPN, QoS, multicast), including troubleshooting of latency and availability issues in a global WAN environment
  • Experience with Cisco (CCNP, CCIE preferred), Fortinet firewalls, F5 load balancers, Bluecoat Proxy Servers, wireless network technology, network management tools (HPNA, Sevone, SMARTS, Wireshark, etc)
  • Familiarity with latency monitoring concepts and relevant industry solutions (Corvil, Nexus Data Broker, etc.)
  • Global/project implementation experience
  • Familiarity with incident management tools and processes, such as ITIL framework, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
  • Ability to lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including communication with stakeholders and documentation of incident reports
  • Proven experience in network governance and control processes, including ability to develop and enforce network policies and procedures
  • Experience implementing and managing network access controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
  • Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment, both individually and as a team
