Job Description

As a seasoned Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of cutting-edge embedded systems. With over 20 years of experience, your expertise will be crucial in guiding the design process and ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key responsibilities include leading the architecture and design of embedded systems, developing comprehensive system specifications and design documents, overseeing the integration of software and hardware components, mentoring junior engineers, conducting thorough reviews of design, code, and test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of the latest advancements in embedded systems, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 20 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a strong focus on system architecture and design.
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded software development, including proficiency in C, C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems (OS) like Linux, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and non-OS programming.
  • Deep understanding of microprocessors (ARM A-Core) and microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and neural processing would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces like RS232, Ethernet LAN, CAN Bus, I2C, I2S, etc.
