Job Title: Manufacturing Improvement Engineer II

This role is designed to drive operational excellence by leveraging Lean and Six Sigma principles in manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a continuous improvement mindset and culture within the site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop value stream maps, formulate the current state, and establish a future state plan to move the value stream from current to future state.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects, execute operational excellence strategies, and track metrics to senior leadership.
  • Responsible for equipment capacity and manpower planning, design workstations, and implement digitalization initiatives.
  • Perform method engineering analysis, develop standard hours and yields, and expand knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Provide inputs for strategic plans and adhere to company rules and requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 2 years experience managing projects of increasing complexity.
  • Project management experience required, experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • AutoCAD, MS Office, Microsoft Project, Visio Professional, MiniTab, Clarizen software competence.
  • Knowledge in FDA Regulations in Medical Devices and ISO13485, statistical techniques, A3 Thinking and Problem Solving.
  • Attention to details, highly organized, analytical, consultative skills.
