Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Scientist to conduct advanced research in the field of Green Cloud Computing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.

Job Description

The Research Scientist will be responsible for developing digital twins and optimization algorithms for integrated energy systems using programming tools like Python, C/C++. They will also research integrated energy system optimizations, including computing-electric and computing-cooling coordination. Additionally, they will supervise junior graduate students, prepare technical reports, papers, patents, and disclosures, collaborate with team members and engineers, and ensure application responsiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Industrial experience in relevant areas is highly preferred.
  • Ability to translate theory into practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python and packages like NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
