Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field, with a Master's or PhD and/or relevant professional certifications.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in a relevant setting, such as hospitals, occupational therapy clinics, community-based settings, long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Deep technical expertise in the areas of psychosocial domain of health involving occupational therapy or psychology.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with people with a range of conditions, including those with physical disabilities, mental or social problems.
  • Practice knowledge on administration and application of various occupational therapy assessment tools.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of industry practices to bring industry perspective to SIT.
  • A keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems.
  • Strong supervisory skills and the ability to work closely with students in an educational environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in keeping abreast of developments in the field and pursuing professional certification programs.
