Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect Lead to drive our technology vision and lead the design, deployment, and management of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure and services.

This strategic leader will develop and implement an enterprise-wide cloud strategy, aligning technology direction with business priorities. They will oversee the migration of applications and data from on-premises or other cloud platforms, optimize cloud budgets, and ensure seamless operation of cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and building landing zones, experience with large-scale AWS cloud migrations, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and driving best practices for cloud architecture.
  • Oversight of cloud infrastructure and services, including design, deployment, and ongoing management.
  • Migrate applications and data from on-premises or other cloud platforms, overseeing transition and ensuring seamless operation.
  • Optimize cloud budgets and monitor usage, driving cost-efficiency and value.
  • Establish and maintain cloud-focused disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
  • Provide architecture leadership within key decision-making forums and ensure alignment with strategic technology roadmaps.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical excellence and a strong cloud competency culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience working in cloud environments, including a minimum of 7 years in a hands-on AWS cloud architecture capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWS services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, CaaS), network and endpoint services, security controls, storage, backup and recovery, and integration with third-party solutions.
  • Proven experience in large-scale AWS cloud migrations, including on-premises to cloud and cloud-to-cloud transitions.
  • Background in designing and building landing zones.
  • Strong vendor management skills, with a successful record of collaborating with system integrators to deliver migration projects and ensure business-as-usual transitions.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and tools.
  • Solid track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
