We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team and work on the project "Disruptive and Sustainable Technologies for Agricultural Precision". This research program is funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF).

Job Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will develop platform technologies for diagnosing abiotic stresses. They will also develop CRISPR leaf vegetables that are tolerant to abiotic stresses.

Key Qualifications:

  • PhD in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, or agricultural biotechnology
  • At least one first-author paper in an international peer-reviewed journal
  • Prior research experience in chemical biology (metabolites analysis) and/or synthetic biology will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
