We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Professional to join our team in a residential care setting.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to adult residents with disabilities, focusing on enhancing mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine therapy needs and functional goals.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercise programs, mobility training, and pain management.
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and outcomes.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy, medical, and care staff to deliver coordinated, holistic care for residents.

Leadership & Supervision:

Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants.

Allied Health Coordination:

Oversee and coordinate the services provided by locum physiotherapists and other externally contracted allied health professionals.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, assessment reports, treatment notes, and progress reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or its equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience (Senior Physiotherapist position requires more).
  • Experience in management and multi-agency collaboration is an advantage.
