Are you looking for a challenging role in the field of automatic doors and entrance systems?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Service Technician and take on various responsibilities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can perform scheduled and retrofits of automatic door parts, conduct site checks, and provide expert advice to clients. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automatic entrance systems, providing site reports, and conducting testing and commissioning of new installations.

You will also be required to propose upgrades and improvements to existing door entrances, maintain service vehicles, and ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working order.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and retrofits of automatic door parts; mechanical, electrical and electronic
  • Troubleshoot and conduct site checks on the automatic entrance, proposing parts recommendations to users as needed
  • Provide site reports to clients for completion of works
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, decommissioning, and risk assessment of all automatic entrance related systems and products
  • Additional Duties:
  • Propose upgrades of automatic door entrances and provide feasible solutions to clients' existing door entrances
  • Maintain service vehicles in good condition and upkeep cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • Stay updated on product information and technical know-how for company and competitor products
  • Keep tools and equipment in good working order, exchanging them timely when damaged or showing wear and tear

Requirements:

  • NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or related fields
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of automatic doors or similar systems (e.g. lift, access control, gates, shutters)
  • Class 3 driving license is an advantage
  • Safety boots are provided
