Senior Research Specialist, Disability Panel

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced researcher to join our Translational Research (TR) team at SRG, NCSS as Research Specialist / Senior Research Specialist.

The successful candidate will be part of our panel studies team to work mainly on the Disability and Inclusion Panel Study (DIPS), a longitudinal study on persons with disabilities and their caregivers to support Enabling masterplan 2030.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects.
  • Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources.
  • Conduct data analysis to address queries from stakeholders.
  • Prepare and tailor research reports and publications for a range of stakeholders (e.g., academic experts, policy-makers, public).
  • Manage research team in training of research assistants and supervising the collection of longitudinal data.
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to the research project.
  • Organise research-related networking and dissemination activities (e.g., seminars, workshops, communities of practice).

Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SPSS, Stata)

Education and Experience
  • Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, public policy, economics)
  • Experience in the social service sector and/or policy work is a plus

Note: We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
