Clinic Assistant Job Description

As a Clinic Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver warm, professional, and attentive customer service to all patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.
  • Manage all forms of patient communication, including answering phone calls, replying to emails and WhatsApp messages, and attending to walk-in enquiries.
  • Schedule and coordinate doctor's appointments via phone, email, WhatsApp, or in-person, with attention to accuracy and patient preferences.
  • Assist the doctor in day-to-day clinic operations, including preparing treatment rooms and supporting patient flow.
  • Perform cashiering duties such as processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling package redemptions.
  • Promote and recommend suitable treatment packages and services based on patient needs and clinic offerings.
  • Conduct patient follow-ups to ensure treatment continuity and satisfaction.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring minimal wait time and smooth transitions between appointments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic, including treatment and reception areas, to ensure a presentable and welcoming environment.
  • Perform basic clinic housekeeping duties.
  • Handle and update patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially.
  • Support any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the clinic manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCE N-Level or O-Level qualification.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a clinic or relevant healthcare/customer service setting.
