Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Routinely inspect and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Fault Identification and Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot faults or hazards in electrical and instrumentation systems, using oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Blueprint Review and Analysis: Review blueprints to understand wiring placement and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Instrumentation and Calibration: Test and calibrate instruments, DCS loops, and field equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintenance Repairs and Installations: Conduct maintenance repairs on faulty fixtures and install new electrical appliances in the building.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write detailed electrical maintenance reports and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, and collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in a process plant setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
