Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Institutional Sales team at OCBC Bank, a leading financial institution in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong track record in institutional sales and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the stockbroking industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

The role requires the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, including trading teams and risk management, to deliver exceptional client service and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow institutional sales revenue and market share
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Manage and develop sales talent to achieve individual and team goals
Requirements
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in institutional equity sales and dealing
  • Proven track record of sales leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the stockbroking industry and regulatory requirements
  • Able to use Bloomberg EMSX and other trading systems
