Job Description

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, manage, and maintain VMWare ESX and HCI technologies to ensure high availability and performance of our systems.
  • Administer Windows Server 2016, SQL 2016, and Windows Clustering technology to ensure seamless integration and data security.
  • Administer Red Hat systems to ensure efficient and secure operation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute product installations, product upgrades, patch installations, and hot fix installations to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Create, manage, and maintain documentation related to the managed systems and operation to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Perform hardening benchmarks adhering to defined procedures and checklists to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Deploy and deliver project deliverables as stated in the project scopes extracted from the proposal/contract to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Update the Infrastructure team lead on the project progress and status to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Implement changes through the Change Management Process on system components to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Build, configure, and rollout new releases through the Release Management Process on system components that affect operations to ensure seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Identify, isolate, resolve, escalate, and close incident/problem tickets according to the ITSM Incident/Problem Management Process to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
  • Ensure backup and recovery of system components is carried out to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
  • Perform daily system health checks to ensure the overall health and performance of our systems.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably possess certifications such as Microsoft MCITP, VMWare certified professional or equivalent.
