Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at HAO HONG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD.

About the Role

  • Administer contracts in accordance with contractual obligations and effective cost management strategies;
  • Carry out pre-tender activities by conducting site show rounds and ensuring completeness of tender drawings/documents;
  • Seek clarifications with consultants regarding discrepancies in scope of work and drawings, replace addendum drawings and BQ pages after clarifications;
  • Seek quotations from trades and follow up on submission of quotations;
  • Take up quantities as per BQ and detailed breakdown in Excel sheets;
  • Review tender pricing with contract manager, understand project schedule, profit margin, and goodwill discount;
  • Attend tender interviews, review letter of appointments, contract drawings, and documents, highlighting any deviation from the tender;
  • Attend project kick-off meetings and brief scope of works with project team and management;
  • Making arrangements for insurance/factory licence/bond/pre-construction survey, fit-out deposit if required;
  • Follow up on making arrangements for sample submissions;
  • Attend consultant meetings with project managers;
  • Negotiate with suppliers and appoint specialist sub-contractors based on trade;
  • Ensure timely submission of VO costs on a day-to-day or weekly basis and communicate with project managers;
  • Submit progress claims on a monthly basis;
  • Follow up effectively on payment certificates and payments with clients;
  • Certify sub-contractor claims based on site progress and quantity;
  • Request AI/EI with respective consultants;
  • Attend internal and external project closure meetings with consultants;
  • Submit warranties based on contractual terms;
  • Ensure PM's submission of as-built drawings and OM manual;
  • Follow through with landlords on refund of fit-out deposits;
  • Any other duties assigned.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is SGD 5,000 - SGD 6,500 per month, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
