Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
">- Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and have a keen eye for detail. They should also be familiar with standard operating procedures and have experience handling pharmaceuticals.
">- Responsibilities include:
• Managing medication orders in accordance with institutional policies
• Packing, labeling, and storing medicines following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Performing medication reconciliation, including counting, sorting, and verifying prescriptions
• Handling billing tasks efficiently
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients
• Regularly reviewing and updating inventory levels based on consumption patterns
• Maintaining storage conditions, performing expiry checks, conducting audits, and reporting defects in drug products within the institution
• Organizing and ensuring accurate cycle counts and stock takes according to SOPs
- Requirements:
• Minimum Certified Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
