We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious driver to operate both tourism and school bus routes. This dual-role position involves transporting school children to and from school on regular routes and driving tourists to various destinations during off-school hours, weekends, or holidays.

The ideal candidate will be punctual, courteous, and committed to passenger safety and service excellence. The successful candidate will safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and school-related events, ensuring students board and exit the bus safely. They will also maintain discipline and a safe environment on the bus, conduct daily vehicle inspections and safety checks, and report any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly.

In addition, the Public Transportation Operator will drive tourists to scheduled destinations and attractions as per tour itineraries, provide general information or commentary (as required) or coordinate with tour guides, assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and seating, and maintain a clean and welcoming vehicle interior. They will also follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or road conditions as necessary.

The successful candidate will adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, keep accurate driving logs and records, communicate effectively with dispatch, school officials, and tour coordinators, perform routine bus maintenance checks, and report service needs. They will also maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

The Requirements for this role include a valid Class 3 & Vocational License, a clean driving record, and strong safety record and commitment to child and passenger safety. Previous experience driving school buses and/or tour buses is preferred. Good communication and customer service skills, ability to work split shifts and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and ability to manage and supervise children in a bus setting are also essential.
