Job Summary:

  • We seek a Digital Security Specialist to lead our cybersecurity efforts.

About the Role:

  • This is a key role that will be responsible for conducting comprehensive digital forensic investigations on computer systems, mobile devices, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
  • The successful candidate will preserve and analyze evidence collected in a manner that adheres to legal standards and regulations.
  • They will perform incident response, root cause analysis, and malware forensics to determine the source and impact of security breaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate system vulnerabilities, conduct penetration testing, and provide recommendations for security improvements.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and incident response plans to ensure our organization's security posture is strong and resilient.
  • Provide expert consulting services and detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain expertise through ongoing education and training on the latest cybercrime trends, forensic tools, and cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in cyber forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity consulting with a strong track record of success.
  • Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Autopsy, and Cellebrite.
  • Strong understanding of network security, malware analysis, and threat intelligence with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS) and certifications such as CEH, CHFI, GCFA, CISSP, OSCP are highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage complex security incidents with minimal supervision.
