Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a full range of financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and other related financial reports.">
  • Evaluate the timeliness of statutory filings, including GST returns, corporate tax submissions, and annual returns in XBRL format.">
  • Review and process employee expense claims promptly and accurately.">
  • Maintain and enhance internal accounting processes and control systems.">
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions as required.">
  • Provide financial analysis and budgeting support to management as needed.">
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of accounting systems (e.g., SAP) and process workflows.">
  • Participate in ad-hoc finance projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.">
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within commodities trading, oil & gas, or international trade sectors.">
  • Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and GST compliance.">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Xero, or similar platforms.">
  • A solid understanding of trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LC), Incoterms, and global shipping procedures.">
  • Attention to detail with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.">
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are advantageous.">
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and to interpret Chinese documentation.">
